I’m really loving Penang. I’ve got a flight scheduled out of here, but if it weren’t for that, I think I’d be staying for a much longer time. That’s not to take away from any of the previous places I’ve been that I’ve really enjoyed…I can look back and still really enjoy them, but Penang just seems damn near perfect. It has a nice laid back feel to it, and there’s a certain unique charm to the town, and to top it off, the food here is absolutely amazing.
Maybe having a shrine in your garage helps keep you calm while trying to find a solution to an unknown problem.
Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower
Like in Melaka, some of the cops rode Kawasaki Ninjas
This one needed a new rear tire pretty desperately
Penang is well known for it’s street art. While walking around the city, some of it really sticks out, but at the same time, some is a bit more discreet and easily can be overlooked.
There were a few unique pieces that utilized two mediums, like this old bicycle with children painted as though they were riding it.
There’s a few other examples of this type throughout the city
Street Art in the most literal form
All I’ve got left to do in Penang is load my bike on a boat to Indonesia, then I’ll be heading out of Malaysia!
Definitely don’t remember much of the street art! I think I was too focused on food Haha.
Man…I already miss the food in Penang!
Street art and good food….sounds pretty great to me!
