I took backroads from Canberra up to Sydney, and had some wonderful riding, except for the last 30 minutes or so when a downpour hit me hard.
I stopped to take a quick picture, just as a couple rain drops started coming down.
Before I could even get my camera put away, and get back on the bike, it was coming down really hard, making my arrival into Sydney rather wet.
One of my highlights in Sydney was getting to take a boat ride through the harbor. My friend Terry, who I met the previous weekend at the Far Cairn rally has a sailboat, so four of us went out on it for half a day, getting to see to city from a less typical view.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was going on over the weekend. On the same day, in cities around the world, hipsters unite, dressed like old timey hipsters, on hipster motorcycles and ride around the city, raising money for prostate cancer research.
A few people snuck in with some not-so-classic bikes…
And a couple non-bikes as well…
Fantastic photos Pat!! You had a great weather there in Sydney. The pics from the sailboat were terrific, love sailing almost as much as mc’s
Trying to catch up with your travels , the best to you , be safe, catch ya later
Thanks Rod!
